The Toriography Dance Center opened in the fall of 2002 with mother-daughter team Grace & Tori Crombie. Growing up in the industry, the dream was simple... to create not just a dance class but a"life experience". With a strong commitment to education, Toriography quickly became recognized for it's excellent training and unique choreography. Even with numerous accolades including "Best of Hartford", "Hula Frog's Most Loved Dance School", and the "ADCC Studio of Excellence" the studio has a more important mission:

"We are raising good human beings...
through the art of dance" 

Whether or not they plan to pursue a professional career in dance, they will leave this program with a voice, an appreciation for the arts & music, and the confidence to conquer the world proudly themselves.
 
Grace headed home in 2012 after a beautifully courageous fight with cancer. Tori now runs the studio in her honor everyday. You will find sunflowers (her favorite) around the studio and "gracing" the front row center seat at every recital. She was so proud of Toriography and continues to look over all the wonderful students that pass through our doors every season!
